About Me

Get To Know me – The story Behind "My Birthday Surprise"

Hi, my name is Maddison - a proud mother to my Daughter Callie, Son George, our two fur children, and a proud Wife to my lovely husband Jesse.

When I was in primary school my mother and I wrote a poem together for a school project, and to this day I can still recite it.

When I became a mother myself, I felt compelled to turn this memory into a children’s book for my Daughter.

In that moment I illustrated and self-published my first children’s book.

I am thankful to my mother for my artistic side, and to my husband for supporting me on this journey.

I truly hope that this book brightens your smile and creates a giggle for all who read it.

Our Mission

Spreading Joy, One Book at a Time

Right now, there are 13 major Children Hospitals around the Country.

The biggest of these Hospitals provides specialist and clinical care for over 80,000 children per year.

My mission is to brighten their day and give them a special gift.

For every 5 copies of “My Birthday Surprise” sold, I will donate 1 copy to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Since 2022 we've donated 37 copies to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
